CVS Health Is Holding A Virtual Job Fair To Hire 25,000 People

According to a release issued on Monday, CVS Health will hold a one-day virtual hiring event on Friday, Sept. 24, and plans to hire 25,000 people for clinical and retail jobs across the country.

The company is holding the hiring event as it prepares for an anticipated rise in COVID-19 vaccinations and testing, as well as the start of flu season in the fall and winter.

The majority of the available positions are full-time, part-time, and temporarily licensed pharmacists, nurses, and trained pharmacy technicians for its CVS Pharmacy store locations.

Apart from flu vaccinations, these employees will help the company administer COVID-19 booster doses after they have been approved.

CVS Health will also be hiring retail workers who can provide services and help clients while also managing inventories.

Full-time employees can expect competitive pay, paid training, and a generous benefits package that includes vacation, 7 paid holidays and one floating holiday, health/dental/vision insurance, employee discounted stock purchase program, 401K with company match, tuition reimbursement, career advancement opportunities, and a 20-30% employee discount at CVS retail stores.

The entire hiring process will be conducted virtually; there will be no on-site applications or interviews. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for one of the available positions by texting “CVS” to 25000 or visiting the CVS Health Career Website.
