Select Upstate Schools To Provide Free Breakfast and Lunch to Students

The provision of free school breakfast and lunch programs has emerged as a vital initiative to support students’ educational journey in the Upstate, SC. Spearheaded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, these meal programs have become a game-changer, ensuring that students receive the nourishment they need to succeed academically.

The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) enables the nation’s highest-poverty schools and districts to offer free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students, eliminating the need for household applications.

If your district or school participates in this program, you no longer have to apply separately to receive these meals. Every student automatically benefits from the program without any additional paperwork.
