The Musical Adaption Of The Blockbuster Film Pretty Woman Comes To Greenville

On its first national tour, the musical adaptation of the 90’s blockbuster film, Pretty Woman, comes to Greenville’s Peace Center this weekend.

Pretty Woman, one of the most iconic romantic comedy films of all time, was an instant blockbuster in the ’90s because of the captivating story of a ruthless and ambitious businessman, Edward, falling for a prostitute, Vivian, whom he hired to pose as his escort.

The musical was brought to the stage by lead producer Paula Wagner. The production is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray, Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde), and features an original score by Grammy® winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance (“Summer of ’69,” “Heaven”) and a book by the film’s legendary director, Garry Marshall, and screenwriter J.F. Lawton.

The musical show starts on Friday at 8:00 pm, Saturday at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and Sunday at 1:00 pm.

As a reminder, audiences who have not been completely vaccinated against COVID-19 are asked to wear a face mask in addition to the Peace Center’s current health and wellness rules. Free masks will be provided upon request.
