Carmella’s Café and Dessert Bar, a popular restaurant in Charleston, is expanding to Greenville, opening a new location in the Camperdown development downtown.
If you’re in the mood for an espresso or a croissant, Carmella’s is an Italian café and dessert bar with a laid-back vibe and cocktails that will have you coming back for more. It features a full bar and serves gourmet gelato and sorbetto, cakes and pastries, pizza, and sandwiches.
Brian Solari, the owner of Carmella, said, “Greenville is a vibrant, growing town and is an ideal location to open our second location. We are excited to be a part of the Camperdown development and serve customers in this beautiful Falls Park venue.”
A large covered outdoor patio overlooking Falls Park and the Liberty Bridge will be part of the 2,395-square-foot retail space.
Solari says he intends for the doors to open in late summer or early fall.
