One of the most awaited festivals in Greenville is back! Artisphere, an annual event held in downtown Greenville, SC, will take place from May 12 to May 14, 2023 (Mother’s Day Weekend). The festival’s primary location is Main Street, which is closed to traffic for the duration of the event.
What to See at Artisphere?
Artisphere is a multi-disciplinary arts festival that features visual arts, music, theater, and dance, among other genres. The festival will feature 143 juried visual artists on Artist Row from 28 states, working in 17 different mediums (glass, jewelry, painting, ceramics, wood, furniture, etc.) Artisphere has something for everyone, whether you are an experienced art collector or just love beautiful things.
Artisphere also features a broad mix of live performances on numerous stages during the event, in addition to the art installations. There is music, theater, and dance. Feature performances from all around the country will play on the main stage at Broad Street, while performances by local musicians will be on the Artists on the Rise stage. What to Do at Artisphere?
Artisphere is more than just a visual arts and music festival; there are other activities and events planned throughout the weekend to keep you entertained. Painting, pottery, and jewelry making are among the hands-on art activities available at the festival for people of all ages. If you love food, you’re in luck! Kids can participate in art projects, musical performances, and Drum Street Beats parades at Kidsphere. The TCMU Imagination Playground, which offers a place for youngsters to play and explore, is also fantastic for kids.
