Village Engage, a social enterprise of Mill Village Ministries, will host its second annual Faith & Justice Forum Oct. 16 at the Peace Center in downtown Greenville.
Running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., this event will focus on the theme “Finding Common Ground through the Arts” and feature a lunch with chef Stephanie Bolden and My Neighbor’s Voice. Attendees will also hear music written and performed by Greenville area high school students and national recording artist, Kyshona Armstrong, and participate in a poetry writing experience with Moody Black and Melissa Whiteford St. Clair.
“This year’s event is for everyone who is tired of the noise and divisiveness in our world,” said Alecia Brewster, Village Engage program director. “Everyone is welcome to join us and experience the joy and uplift that’s created when we connect and find common ground with our neighbors.”
