Greenville residents are invited to the City of Greenville and TreesUpstate’s tree giveaways on November 19-20.
Residents can choose from two 3-gallon trees to put in their yards. The city and Trees Upstate will give out 600 trees in total, with 400 of those trees being accessible to be reserved ahead of time online.
Available plants will include Black Tupelo, American Fringe, Overcup Oak, Red Maple, Swamp White Oak.
Trees can be reserved at treesupstate.org/freetrees.
The tree giveaway, sponsored by TD Bank, will take place in Holmes Park on November 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on November 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
