The United Way Of The Piedmont Introduces The Sharpen Family App

The United Way of the Piedmont and more than 15 child development groups collaborated in creating the Sharpen Family App that offers free resources for families during the corona-virus pandemic.

The mobile app aims to help families cope with anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. There are also stress management and mindfulness tips to assist the whole community during this trying time.

The Sharpen Family App does not replace the importance of a counselor. It educates and assists individuals in connecting to treatment providers in their area.

The mobile app is being offered at no cost to South Carolina families.

You can easily download the app by simply clicking on this link (if prompted, please enter the app code: FAMILY) and register with your email address or phone number.  No user information is ever shared per Privacy policy.
