The United Way of Anderson County is bringing Anderson Sings BACK to Anderson County.
Back in its 2nd year, Anderson Sing is a virtual competition that honors and celebrates local bands and musicians in Anderson County and the surrounding area while also giving back to the community.
The grand prize winner will get $2,000, as well as the opportunity to perform at the 2022 Celebrate Anderson festival, a professional musician’s photoshoot, a performance at Thankful Thursday, and a studio recording session at Sit n’ Spin Studios.
Musicians and bands must register for the competition by September 15, 2021, at 10 a.m.
A single-elimination bracket format will be used to organize the competition. The number of votes cast by fans determines the winner of each match-up, with each vote costing just $1. Fans have the option to vote as many times as they want.
The money raised during the tournament voting will benefit United Way of Anderson County and will help the people in the community.
