The Spartanburg Philharmonic welcomes audiences back to enjoy live performances as they present the concert series called “Be Inspired.”
The program, according to organizers, is dedicated to the Spartanburg area’s front-line workers as well as the honoring of those who have perished in the last year.
The first concert performance is scheduled for September 18. You can begin purchasing tickets and learning about other upcoming events by visiting the Spartanburg Philharmonic’s events page at spartanburgphilharmonic.org/events.
The Spartanburg Philharmonic remains committed to safeguarding the health of its patrons and all those involved in its operations. The organization is establishing new safety measures for future concerts based on the advice of the CDC and local health authorities.
All Philharmonic personnel, board members, musicians, and adult volunteers must be vaccinated or produce documentation of a negative COVID-19 test 72 hours before participating in an event, according to the new policy.
Officials also stated that, while they suggest that all audience members get vaccinated, it is not a requirement to attend a concert. However, face masks must be worn over the nose and mouth for the duration of the show.
