The annual Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap Book Sale, hosted by the Greenville Literacy Association, returns for its 21st year on August 12 to 14, with a variety of events scheduled.
If you are a book collector or voracious reader, the annual Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap Book Sale is for you. Find a book with the best deal for you and at the same time help the Greenville Literacy Association with its mission.
The event will take place in McAlister Square in Greenville, which is located at 225 S. Pleasantburg Drive. The sale kicks off on Friday, August 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., offering customers the opportunity to shop the deal before it opens to the general public.
The following is the event’s schedule:
- August 12, Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – Kick-off Party
- August 13, Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Book sale
- August 14, Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Bag Sale clearance event where bags provided by GLA may be filled with books and purchased for $10 per bag
The Kick-off Party tickets cost $50 per person and include wine and hors d’oeuvres. Each attendee must register online in advance.
The proceeds from the Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap Book Sale benefit Greenville Literacy Association’s mission which is to increase literacy and employability in Greenville.
