After months of closure due to COVID, Greenville Theatre will reopen with “The Dixie Swim Club” as its first live performance from July 29 to August 15, 2021.
“The Dixie Swim Club” is based on the novel by Jamie Wooten, Jessie Jones, and Nicholas Hope. A hilarious and heartfelt comedy about the friendships of five southern women who reunite every August at the same beach cottage to catch up, laugh, and meddle in each other’s lives. As the years pass, these women come to rely on one another to help them overcome life’s obstacles, which include some amusing and surprising twists and turns.
The performances are scheduled for:
- July 29 and Aug. 5 and 12 at 7:30 p.m.
- July 30-31 and Aug. 6-7, 13-14 at 8 p.m.
- Aug. 1, 8, and 15 at 3 p.m.
