Bosch Rexroth, a global leader in the field of drive and control technologies, recently announced plans to expand production at its Fountain Inn, South Carolina, hydraulics manufacturing facility.
The Fountain Inn plant, located at 8 Southchase Court, manufactures hydraulic pumps and motors for use in construction, agriculture, mining, material handling, and oil and gas exploration.
About 60 additional jobs are expected to be created in Greenville County over the next five years as a result of the company’s $12.8 million expansion project. Converting an existing 260,000-square-foot industrial warehouse into a cutting-edge manufacturing facility for the Rexroth A10VO hydraulic pump.
Bosch Rexroth’s Fountain Inn campus will increase its production capabilities with the addition of the new building. The Fountain Inn facility would be the company’s largest hydraulics production site in North America.
In a release, Bosch Rexroth Technical Plant Manager Mike McCormick said, “We are very excited to see this continued investment in our business here in Greenville County, especially the investments linked to local R&D activities.”
The expansion is expected to be complete by 2025.
