Ten At The Top Schedules The 2022 Upstate Summit On May 10

The Upstate Summit, which is usually held every other year, has been rescheduled to May 10, 2022, due to the pandemic. It was originally set for 2020, but was rescheduled and eventually canceled in 2021.

It will be held at the Greenville Convention Center from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event’s theme this year is Focus on the Future, and organizers plan to spend the day looking at how the Upstate is progressing on a number of key topics.

To preserve the health and safety of attendees during the continuing pandemic, the Summit’s on-site attendance is limited to 500 people this year, instead of the typical 800 to 1,000 stakeholders, according to the organizers.

Although the majority of the seats have already been secured by Ten at the Top Funding partners, there are still a few general admission tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are $75 for general admission and $65 for non-profit and government representatives.

A series of speakers and breakout sessions will be held during the summit. Author Richard Florida, who has written three best-selling books and several recent articles about the pandemic’s effects, will be the summit’s keynote speaker.
