As the state began to reopen the economy, the Business Recovery Task Force, a collaboration between The City of Greenville, Greenville County, the Greenville Chamber, and the Greenville Area Development Corporation, has launched the Greater Greenville Pledge.
The Greater Greenville Pledge is a marketing campaign that includes comprehensive reopening and recovery information for small businesses. It provides accessible, bi-lingual resources and guidance to restore customer and employee confidence.
The Business Recovery Task Force is encouraging businesses to reopen responsibly and safely by pledging to follow guidelines from the CDC and DHEC:
- Promote Social Distancing
- Limit Capacity
- Monitor the Health of Employees
- Clean Frequently
- Encourage Face Covering & Hand Sanitizing
Businesses who will take the pledge and participate in the campaign will be included in the map posted on the website. They will also get a marketing package that they can post on their windows and counters. Participating businesses can post photos with the #GreaterGVLPledge on Instagram and Twitter.
