Sync for Survivors benefit raises $200K for Cancer Survivors Park

Cancer Survivors Park Alliance announced Aug. 21 it raised over $200,000 at its inaugural Sync for Survivors benefit Aug. 17 at the Greenville Theatre.

The funds will be used to support the park’s programming.

“Sync for Survivors was a magical evening of celebration. We were incredibly impressed by the dedication of the performers, the support of our sponsors and vendors, and the high level of engagement from the audience,” said Kay Roper, executive director of CSPA. “This was truly an extraordinary opportunity to connect all those touched by cancer in a fun and unique way.”

Sync for Survivors was attended by 400 guests, emceed by WYFF4-TV anchor Jane Robelot, included food and beverages, and featured performances by eight teams consisting of 20 Upstate locals, such as:

  • Crissy Posner of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System

AutoCorrect and The Bi***in’ Syncs team, which consisted of Ali, Allen, Beville, Inman and Welch, was named the evening’s overall team winner.
