St. Clare’s Home invites everyone to the first Pink and Blue Banquet on Saturday, March 26, at 5:30 p.m. at Fluor Field in Greenville.
St. Clare’s Home, run by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charleston, is Greenville County’s sole maternity home for women 18 years of age and up who are in crisis pregnancies. It provides home, care, and education to pregnant women who are in need of assistance.
The celebration will include dinner, live music, and exciting updates on the mothers and babies who have been helped in the few months the shelter has been open. Author and priest of Our Lady of Grace Church, Father Jeffrey Kirby, will also give a great presentation.
Claire Pizzuti, one of the home’s founders, stated, “St. Clare’s Home had been in the works for several years, and we were so thrilled that it finally came to fruition and opened late last year. Four women have already given birth to their babies since moving into the home, and we are expecting more births this year. The banquet will support these mothers and all our efforts at the home.”
The Pink and Blue Banquet ticket will cost $50 per person and will include either a steak or salmon dinner. The banquet’s proceeds will benefit St. Clare’s Home.
