Spartanburg Is Anticipated To Gain About 40 New Jobs

Plastics manufacturer VPET USA, LLC recently announced plans to establish operations in Spartanburg County.

The company plans to build a new polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle and container factory on Victor Hill Road in Duncan for a $10.8 million investment. This venture is expected to generate 40 new jobs in the county.

Initially, the operations in Spartanburg County will act as a blow molding and injection molding facility to supply Southeast customers.

The new facility joins four existing manufacturing facilities in California, Illinois, and Texas, as well as in-house production facilities around the world. The Spartanburg County facility will be the company’s fifth in the United States.

VPET USA LLC was established in 2001 and produces custom and stock PET containers for the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, personal care, and health care industry.

The operations are expected to begin in October 2022. Visit the company’s careers page if you’re interested in working with the company.
