The Spartanburg Humane Society is inviting cyclists of all skill levels to participate in the 20th annual Tour de Paws on Saturday, April 9.
Tour de Paws is an annual event that brings together bikers and animal lovers for a fun and lighthearted ride. The goal of the event is to raise funds for the Spartanburg Humane Society’s homeless puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats to ensure that every animal receives the care they need and deserve.
Participating riders can select between an 8-mile (Family Fun Ride), a 33-mile, or a 61-mile event, with all rides starting at 9 a.m. at Spartanburg Community College’s Downtown Campus, 220 E. Kennedy Street.
A Tour de Paws T-shirt and one meal are included with the registration fee. Also, additional meals can be purchased for friends, family, and other supporters who will be present on the event day. Unfortunately, registration and guarantee for a shirt and lunch ticket ended on March 24.
The deadline for online registration is 3 p.m. on Friday, April 8. On the day of the ride, participants can register for $55 with a shirt or $45 without.
On the day of the event, check-in begins at 7 a.m. During registration, as well as at the start and finish lines, masks are needed to be worn.
Send an email to [email protected] if you have any questions regarding the ride.
