Spartanburg Art Exhibition Presents “Reflection On A Southern Summer”

“Reflections on a Southern Summer,” a presentation highlighting summer customs and events in the South over the years, is on exhibition at the Johnson Collection Gallery in downtown Spartanburg.

The exhibit will showcase images from various different states in the South and will feature the works by Ernie Barnes, George Bellows, Margaret Burroughs, Josephine Couper, Lamar Dodd, William Dunlap, Clementine Hunter, Helen LaFrance, Margaret Law, Alice Smith, Eugene Thomason, and many more.

The exhibit will be on display from June 9, 2021, through September 4, 2021, at 154 West Main Street in downtown Spartanburg.

Gallery admission is free and is open from 12-4 pm Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and the first Saturday of the month.
