Saltwater Kitchen Reopens With A New Look

Rick Erwin Dining Group’s Lowcountry-inspired restaurant celebrated its grand reopening on Wednesday night after being closed for nearly two years.

With its new look, Saltwater Kitchen, located in Haywood Mall, boasts a more laid-back atmosphere and a new menu.

New specialties include Maple Cedar Plank Salmon, Shrimp & Grits, oysters made to order that are either steamed, baked, fried, or on the half shell, Bang Bang and Peel and Eat Shrimp and Crab, and Flounder Almondine, among others. Pretzel bits, BBQ chicken nachos, wings, Kobe beef sliders, a burger, and a crispy chicken sandwich are just a few of the non-seafood options available. Specialty cocktails, wine, and adult slushies are available on the bar menu as well.

Brighter lighting, TVs, high-top tables, and additional seats to expand the bar area are among the other changes at the restaurant.

The restaurant is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Saltwater Kitchen is a wonderful spot to meet with family and friends to eat delicious food. It’s the ideal spot for happy hour, special celebrations, and dinner any night of the week.
