The Reedy Reels Film Festival returns for its seventh year as South Carolina continues to make a mark in the film industry.
The film festival’s goal is to promote an appreciation for the art of filmmaking while also raising funds for independent filmmakers, particularly in Upstate South Carolina. The festival will bring the community together and raise awareness of local filmmaking, as well as provide inspiration and new opportunities for local artists.
The festival will be held at the South Carolina Children’s Theater in Greenville, South Carolina, at 153 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC 29601. The festival will begin on Friday, April 22nd at 6 p.m., and run through Sunday, April 24th, with a festive weekend of films.
There will be around 60 original films screened, including documentaries, animation, short films, and student films.
With over 35 filmmakers participating and discussing their work, the festival provides a unique opportunity for audience members to interact with filmmakers during various Q & A sessions following the screenings.
In addition to the film screenings, the event will also include workshops and panel discussions.
The following festival tickets are available: three-day passes for $85, single-day passes for $35, and single-session tickets for $12. Tickets for students are $10. Get your tickets now by clicking here.
