Shelter

The American Red Cross opened a shelter at Crosswell Baptist Church, 219 S. Fishtrap Road in Greenville for residents along the Saluda River who may need to evacuate due to the flooding.

The Saluda River near U.S. Highway 123 could rise higher than the February 2020 storm that caused some residents to be displaced, according to the National Weather Service. The shelter serves residents of Greenville and Pickens counties.

Roads that may be impacted include, but are not limited to, Riverview Drive, Knollview Drive, Riverview Circle and Sentell Court. For more information, visit redcross.org.
