The 2020 edition of TD Bank Reedy River run has now been canceled. Originally, the event was scheduled for April 18 and was moved to September 5.
Organizers cited safety concerns related to large crowds during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Statement From the Race Directors
“We are extremely disappointed that we will not be able to conduct the TD Bank Reedy River Run this year due to concerns and restrictions related to the uncertainty presented by COVID-19,” stated race director Mike Caldwell. “We explored all options to hopefully provide a safe event utilizing physical distancing protocols, staggered starting processes, etc. However, with anticipated size limitations on group gatherings and other concerns, we must cancel the event for this year. The safety of our participants, volunteers, and sponsors is our primary concern.”
The TD Bank Reedy River Run consists of a 10K, 5K, and youth mile.
