New Job Opportunity Is Coming To Laurens County In November

Laurens County is getting almost 200 new jobs thanks to the consumer goods company, Malouf Companies.

Malouf Companies plans to build a $47.2 million plant in Laurens County. According to a company press statement, the new facility is projected to boost the company’s warehouse capabilities and distribution capacity to meet growing demand, as well as provide 240 employment to the county.

“We couldn’t be more excited to congratulate Malouf for its decision to establish its first South Carolina facility in Laurens County. This $47.2 million investment, along with the 240 new jobs it will create, are huge wins for the community, and we look forward to seeing this great company continue to grow,” said Gov. Henry McMaster.

According to the company, the new facility will be located at 101 Michelin Drive and will be operational by November 30, 2021.
