MooHogz BBQ, Greenville’s newest barbecue restaurant, will open on August 6 at Hampton Station on Hampton Avenue.
According to the restaurant’s website, the owner and his wife “have decided to start a Craft BBQ restaurant, after many years of wrestling with the idea–it’s a done deal.”
The menu at the craft barbecue restaurant will include a variety of dishes from proteins to sandwiches, such as:
- Brisket
- Spare ribs
- Pulled Pork
- Turkey Breast
- Cole slaw
- Mac & Cheese
The restaurant’s menu is influenced by many regions across the country. Still, a few foods, such as Brisket and Pulled pork, are staples that are consistent with Central Texas and Carolina traditions.
Additionally, MooHogz offers foods that are suitable for vegans on its menu, including sides like cole slaw, collard greens, and baked beans. Vegan desserts such as pound cake and red velvet are also available.
The restaurant is available for take-away, delivery, online ordering, and catering. The restaurant’s trailers are open on Saturdays at 10 a.m. and Sundays at 12 p.m. until sold out.
