McDonald’s restaurants throughout the Carolinas are holding a week-long hiring event as the company seeks to hire 5,000 new employees to its Carolinas operations.
The week-long hiring event began on Monday, Feb. 28, and will end on Friday, March 4, at participating restaurants where on-the-spot interviews will be placed between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Individual restaurants have different job openings, with crew and management roles available. Flexible scheduling, paid time off, healthcare benefits, free employee lunches, and competitive compensation are among the company’s benefits, according to the company.
McDonald’s Archways to Opportunity program offers up to $2,500 per year in tuition assistance to employees who work at least 15 hours per week for 90 days.
Cities with participating restaurants include Anderson, S.C., Asheville, N.C., Charleston, S.C., Charlotte, N.C., Columbia, S.C., Florence, S.C., Greenville, S.C., Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Spartanburg, S.C.
