The Bridgeway Station in Mauldin has announced its new tenant. The list of retail tenants now includes Cocobowlz, an acai bowl and smoothie fast-casual restaurant founded in Upstate.
Cocobowlz will open its tenth Upstate location on the ground floor of the BridgeWay Station’s Main Street, occupying a 1,133-square-foot space and joining Belladina’s Italian Market, The Junkyard, Cohesive Coffee, and Poogan’s Southern Kitchen as tenants. The restaurant’s menu features flavored acai, smoothies, organic granola, and fresh fruit.
According to Phil Hughes, owner, and president of Hughes Investments, “Cocobowlz is the perfect complement to our ‘Dining District’ at BridgeWay Station.” “Its delicious, healthy variety of acai bowls and smoothies are sure to be a hit, and we are excited to play a part in the growth of this successful local business.”
The restaurant began as a food truck before turning into a franchise. The restaurant currently has locations on Fairview and Pelham Roads, as well as in Clemson, Gather GVL, Haywood Mall, Five Forks, Greer, Boiling Springs, and Easley.
