Mauldin is the third-best city in America, according to Realtor.com’s list of the Best Markets for First-Time Homebuyers in 2022.
According to the real estate website, Mauldin has profited from the popularity of the nearby city of Greenville, which has become a popular destination for retirees, young families, and arts aficionados.
Realtor.com says Mauldin’s median home list price is $242,600, and the city’s price growth is expected to be 5.7%.
According to Realtor.com, first-time buyers appreciate the area’s cheaper taxes and cost of living compared to the coasts, as well as the strong job market, which includes the Michelin headquarters, two large health systems, and a BMW plant.
Furthermore, the city of Mauldin has a healthy mix of more affordable ranches, newly constructed single-family houses, and townhomes.
