Back in May, Upstate-born blues guitar phenom Marcus King, who has spent the last few years in the national spotlight, announced that he was coming home – and bringing some friends with him.
King was talking about an upcoming event at CCNB Amphitheatre in Simpsonville Aug. 24 and 25. The Marcus King Family Reunion is a multi-band festival style show designed to bring serious musical firepower to the Upstate.
At the time of the announcement, a few names of performers were bandied around, but the full schedule wasn’t made public. Now the lineup, curated by King himself, is set.
