The metal fabrication and machine shop Lollis Metals Fabrication, Inc. (Lollis Metals) recently announced plans to expand its operations in Anderson County.
The $2.8 million investment in the Anderson expansion is expected to generate 10 new jobs in the county.
Since 1979, the family-owned business has provided custom metal components such as laser cutting, custom fabrication, robotic welding, forming, and more.
Lollis Metals plans to expand its plant on Keys Street by 10,000 square feet to accommodate a new robotic laser. The company serves original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) throughout the mid-Southeast.
“Lollis Metals is excited to announce an expansion to its Anderson, S.C., location,” Rick Lollis, the president, said. “Our new state-of-the-art robotic tube laser will be one of the first of its kind in the area.”
The expansion is anticipated to be operational by December 2022.
