The Hub City Spartanburgers, a Texas Rangers affiliate in the South Atlantic League, will host the 2023 World Champions Trophy Tour Sept. 8 at Rockers Brewing Co. in downtown Spartanburg.
From 3 to 4 p.m., fans may take photos with the trophy.
The Rangers won the World Series last season, defeating the Arizona Diamondbacks in five games.
The Spartanburgers will also hold a VIP event at the AC Hotel Spartanburg from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for partners and season-ticket membership depositors. During this special gathering, interested individuals may have their photo taken with the trophy by a professional photographer. They will also have a bird’s eye view of Fifth Third Park from Level 10 and may enter to win 2025 game-day experiences.
“We are thrilled to be able to host the World Series trophy and celebrate the Rangers’ success with our fellow Spartanburgers on Sept. 8,” said Tyson Jeffers, general manager of the Spartanburgers. “This event is another example of the unique experiences that we will always strive to offer in an effort for the community to create lifelong memories together.”
The team’s inaugural season will officially kick off April 4, 2025 when it heads to Maryland to face the Aberdeen IronBirds. The Spartanburgers will also host its first home game against the Bowling Green Hot Rods April 15.
