The City of Greenville, TD Bank, and Prisma Health announced Wednesday morning the return of TD Saturday Farmer’s Market in downtown Greenville with COVID-19 safety measures in place.
Mayor Knox White and Prisma Health Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Wendall James spoke at the press conference about the 2021 TD Saturday Market, which will open beginning May 1 and will run until October 30.
Throughout the season, there are a total of 77 different vendors will be included, with seven new vendors entering the lineup.
Purchases using credit cards or exact change are highly encouraged. EBT cards can also be accepted and spending at least $5 on an EBT card would earn you a $10 token that is valid until Oct. 30.
COVID-19 safety precautions will be implemented. Wearing a face mask will be necessary. The market will be limited in size, with a maximum capacity of 350 people at any given time. Hand sanitizer stations will also be placed within the venue
