Greenville’s Red, White, and Blue 4th of July Celebration Will Not Return This Year

The “Red, White, and Blue” festival, one of Greenville’s most popular summer festivals, will not be held this year.

Traditionally, the city’s 4th of July fireworks are launched from County Square.

According to the press release, city officials stated that this is no longer possible this year due to construction on the site.

According to the news release, city spokesperson Beth Brotherton said, “Identifying a new launch site that meets rigorous safety requirements and would not negatively impact surrounding uses is a challenge, but the city will continue to explore potential options for the future.”
