Greenville’s Newest Live Music Venue “Cowboy Up Nightlife” Opens In March

Set for its grand opening on March 4 at 6 p.m. is Greenville’s newest live music venue, Cowboy Up Nightlife.

Located in the west end of downtown Greenville at 701 Easley Bridge Road, the 10,000 square foot music venue can accommodate up to 1,000 people and will host live music every night, catering to performers ranging from top 40 country musicians to more niche artists.

Even though it’s being marketed as a contemporary spin on the traditional live country music venue, developer Howard Dozier says Cowboy Up Nightlife aims to feature music from all genres.

“The base for it will be country music, so that’s probably what’s going to be on weekends, but we’ll most definitely bring other genres of music, whether that’s rock, indie rock, folk or a whole wide range of acts,” Dozier said in an interview.

According to Braxton Wilson, Entertainment Director and Partner, the music venue will initially be open on Friday and Saturday evenings, but following the official opening, it will open Thursday through Sunday nights.
