Greenville Zoo To Reopen On May 29

Greenville Zoo is ready to welcome back visitors on May 29 – 31 for a special members-only weekend

With more attraction reopening across South Carolina, Greenville Zoo will soon be among those establishments reopening. According to their website, Greenville Zoo will be opening from May 29 through May 31 for a special members-only weekend and will officially reopen to the general public on June 8.

This is the first time the zoo will be opened since its closing in mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic response.

To ensure safe social distancing, Greenville Zoo will only sell a limited number of tickets for each day. Tickets can only be purchased online and guests/members must make a reservation with specific times to enter the park. Guests can only reserve a maximum of 7 tickets.

Masks are encouraged for guests age 3 and up. Visual markers, protective barriers and capacity limits will also be in place. Water fountains and playgrounds will remain closed.

Guests are welcome to bring their own food to enjoy at the zoo’s picnic areas.
