Greenville Triumph and Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System announced a three-year agreement during a press conference at Bob Jones University on Tuesday morning.
Greenville Triumph players will have access to a variety of healthcare services, including dedicated sports trainers, orthopedic specialists and surgeons, primary care, and emergency care, according to officials.
“This agreement was born from strong relationships and tremendous alignment in the positive impact we each strive to make in the Upstate community,” said Triumph president Chris Lewis. “The professionalism, attention to detail, and sense of caring that everyone at SRHS exhibits confirms that the car our players will receive will be work class and that we will be in a terrific place with regard to keeping our team healthy and fit to compete.”
According to officials, Triumph’s medical provider will be Dr. Wayne Davis, MD, and orthopedic specialist treatment will be coordinated by Dr. John Lucas.
