Greenville SC is Ranked Seventh In The Top Housing Markets For 2022 By Realtor.com

One of the fastest-growing cities in the Carolinas made the top 10 on Realtor.com’s list of the hottest markets for the coming year.

On Realtor.com’s list of the Top Housing Markets for 2022, Greenville comes in at no. 7. Based on levels of competition for properties, prices, and sales growth anticipated to continue into next year, the real estate website projects the Greenville area to be the seventh-hottest market in the country in 2022.

According to the website, Greenville, at No. 7, is said to have low income and property taxes, a small-town feel, and easy access to the great outdoors. Falls Park has restaurants, breweries, and shops, as well as stunning views of the Reedy River Falls. Also, popular tourist spots like Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach are easily accessible from Greenville.

Despite the fact that the area is seeing a lot of new construction, property prices remain reasonably low. Greenville also has a thriving economy, with major businesses such as BMW and Michelin. The area is also home to some of the best schools in the country.

In 2022, the website predicts a nearly 12% increase in year-over-year home sales and a 7% increase in average home prices in these locations.
