To keep each citizen informed and prepared for all types of emergency situations that may occur in the community, Greenville has launched a new communication tool called CodeRED.
CodeRED is a cloud-based software that helps public safety officials to easily deliver geo-targeted, time-sensitive information via phone, email, SMS, IPAWS, and more during emergency situations.
You can review or add your emergency contact information by going to police.greenvillsc.gov. Click on the CodeRed logo and enter your information.
You can also text GreenvilleAlerts to 99411 to receive the link on your mobile phone and sign up from there.
