Greenville County Schools Is Reminding All Parents To Enroll Their Children In Kindergarten

The Greenville County Schools is reminding all parents that children who will be five years old on or before September 1 of the current year must enroll in public or private kindergarten before the academic year begins.

GCS council says parents or legal guardians who plan to keep their children at home and skip any type of schooling this school year including homeschooling must complete a waiver and send it to their home-based school.

You can download the waiver here.

Parents are also being reminded that if they decide not to send their child to kindergarten this school year, the child will enter first grade in the next school year.
