Kids are now allowed to play at a number of playgrounds in Greenville County provided they follow all the rules set out by the health authorities.
According to the press release by the governor.sc.gov under Executive Order No. 2020-37, playgrounds are now allowed to be used and are considered reopened. Parks in Greenville County were previously closed to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Athletic fields may open for youth sports practices without spectators other than one parent or guardian per participant starting May 31. At the same time, picnic shelters and building rentals will also resume. Rentals will be limited to 50 people in a single room or confined indoor space.

Parks in Fountain Inn are now open while Simpsonville and Spartanburg playgrounds will reopen on May 30th and 31st respectively. Signage for social distancing will be posted at every park.
