Greenville And Spartanburg Mask Ordinance Extended

The cities of Greenville and Spartanburg are extending the city-wide mask ordinance for another 60-day extension as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

The measures were approved Monday night by the town councils of both cities.

The mask ordinance will require all people in grocery stores and pharmacies to wear a face-covering at all times.

It also requires all staff in restaurants, convenience stores, salons, barbershops, grocery stores, and pharmacies in the city to wear masks during face-to-face encounters with the public.

The extension will be effective today, 15 December.
