Greenville 2020 Census Home Visit Begins

The Greenville City Census workers are starting to visit houses in the area this week. They’ll start visiting houses that have not responded to the 2020 Census.

The city is reminding homeowners that If someone visits your home to collect information for the Census, do not forget to check and make sure they have a valid ID badge that includes their photograph, a U.S. Department of Commerce watermark, and expiration date.

To avoid having a Census worker visiting your home you have the option to complete the Census online at https://my2020census.gov/ or by phone at 844-330-2020. Answers are confidential and will only take a few minutes.

The city is encouraging everyone to do their part to help ensure that everyone is counted.

The results of the 2020 Census will affect the community for the next 10 years.
