Starting today and running through the end of 2021, Krispy Kreme is giving away its famous Original Glazed doughnut for free at all of its stores nationwide.
Customers who present a valid COVID-19 vaccination card at any of the company’s store nationwide will receive a free Original Glazed doughnut.
“We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them,” Krispy Kreme’s chief marketing officer, Dave Skena, said in a statement.
The freebie is valid at all 369 Krispy Kreme shops located in 41 states and available “anytime, any day, every day for the rest of the year,” according to Skena.
Another treat for its customers is a free medium coffee and a free Original Glazed doughnut, every Monday from March 29 through May 24. No purchase is necessary.
In addition, Krispy Kreme plans to distribute free doughnuts to selected vaccination centers across the country in the coming weeks to support health care workers and volunteers who are helping to administer the vaccine.
The company is also offering up to four hours of paid time off for each COVID vaccination for its employees.
