Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of Food Lion, awarded a $1,600 grant to Jasmine Road, a long-term residential program for adult female survivors of sex trafficking, prostitution and addiction.
The funds will be used to help increase Jasmine Road residents’ access to nutritious food.
“Partners like Food Lion Feeds make the work we do at Jasmine Road possible,” said Jasmine Road CEO Lisa O’Connell-Hall. “With Food Lion’s support, we will help provide survivors with food security. Feeding their bodies is one step to helping pave a path of healing that allows them to flourish.”
Since its inception in 2001, the foundation has awarded more than $18.9 million in grants to various organizations.
