Fall for Greenville postponed until November

Bank of America Fall for Greenville has been postponed to Nov. 8-10.

The city of Greenville announced the schedule change on Oct. 3 as a result of the impact of Hurricane Helene. The annual festival was originally scheduled to take place on Oct. 11-13 in downtown Greenville.

Ongoing cleanup efforts across the region combined with significant disruptions to our local and regional suppliers and vendors have made it difficult to hold the event as originally planned,” according to the city’s announcement.

Hurricane Helene hit the Upstate in the early morning of Sept. 27. Since then, recovery efforts from the storm have been ongoing in the city of Greenville such as clearing fallen trees, fixing traffic lights and more.

According to the announcement, the city appreciates the public’s understanding and patience as they work through the planning process for Fall for Greenville’s new date.

“We know how much this event means to our community, and we are committed to planning the same high quality experience that upholds the festival’s mission,” according to the city.
