The “We Will Not Grow Weary” group has been offering food and gifts to medical personnel and health workers in Greenville since March.
This time, the group launched the adopt-a-health care worker campaign. The group is searching for volunteers to help health workers who are fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Health care workers are responding so positively with the tokens of appreciation they’re getting,” said the group’s founder, Kipra Anderson. “They’re saying it is boosting morale. They come home and there is something in their mailbox.”
Volunteers are encouraged to give a thank you note or a gift card to show their support.
Anyone interested in joining the initiative can go to the Facebook page “We Will Not Grow Weary.”
The deadline for health care workers to sign up to receive the donations is Feb. 7. Click here to sign up.
