This week is a great week to try local restaurants as the South Carolina Restaurant Week kicks off today.

South Carolina Restaurant Week is an eleven-day event that features discounted meals throughout the state.

The event, which runs from Thursday, Jan. 13 to Sunday, Jan. 23, is a perfect way to try something new because restaurants all throughout the state are giving special deals and dishes to celebrate the occasion.
