City Of Simpsonville Invites Families To A Free Halloween Movie Night

Hosted by Simpsonville Parks & Recreation and Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce with sponsor Ray Thompson’s Upstate Karate. The City of Simpsonville presents “Simply Spooky Movie Night.”

The city invites everyone to a free showing of the Halloween movie ParaNorman on October 24 at the CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park.

The first 1,500 kids will receive treat bags with candy, toys, games, coloring kits, a mask, and a hand sanitizer.

Simpsonville Special Events Coordinator Lisa Everidge said, “Simply Spooky Movie Night is about providing safe outdoor fun for kids and their families,” “The CCNB Amphitheatre is a great venue for showing a movie because it allows for social distancing. We invite people to come out in costumes, get some candy, and enjoy a simply spooky night.”

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the event is taking the place of Halloween at Heritage Park for 2020.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and the movie will begin around 7 p.m. or sundown.
