Book An Appointment Today And Be A Blood Donor To Help Save Lives This Holiday Season

The demand for blood is constant and never stops, and it increases over the Christmas season. While many people are spending time with family and friends and finishing up their holiday shopping, many others are in hospitals and treatment facilities where blood products are vital to their survival.

To help save lives this holiday season, The Blood Connection and local hospitals in the Upstate are encouraging residents to make an appointment and donate blood. TBC relies on community blood donors to ensure that a sufficient and consistent supply of blood is available to treat patients in need.

Every Upstate hospital, including Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, AnMed Health, Prisma Health, Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, and dozens more across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, relies on blood products solely from Blood Connections.

This holiday season, local blood donations are vital to saving lives. For the next few months, how the community responds to this urgent request will have a direct effect on local hospitals and their patients.

The Blood Connection’s annual Holiday Blood Drive began on Monday, December 20th, and will continue until December 27th. Every blood donor will receive a $20 eGift card as well as a limited-edition holiday t-shirt.
